Tried over at /k with no luck.
I'm trying to find out what I have here. I know what the crkt ignitor is. Hoping someone can identify the model number of the sog.
Found both of these on the ground in St. Louis over the weekend.
That's a hell of a find. It's a Sog AO3 Architect Damascus, one of Sog's premier blades; it retails for a bit over $600 USD

nigger it costs 250 on amazon
still great find although it is ugly as fuck

$604 is the MSRP from Sog, I'm sure Amazon, overstock, ebay, etc., have it for much cheaper.

I'm guessing it's been heavily used, a lot of the surface metal effected by the acid wash has begun to wear off and it's dulled the Damascus striations.
OK so I feel confident that I have a authentic knife. It weighs on my postal scale 4.5 oz.
Same little inlay on the thumb opener. And the carbon fiber seems to match up with the sog website pics.
What should I get to keep this thing usable sharp? The blade is quite dull. All I ever owned is chink shit knives, so I've never really learned how to sharpen a blade.

That's ugly as hell. Since you just found it, good for you. If someone is wanting to buy that... you're in the custom knife price range and should get something less shitty.
Thanks guys.
Feel free to post some sweet knives.

Sog will sharpen it for free, you can download the warranty form off their website, no reciept is necessary they will even pay the return shipping. Just mail it to the address on the website along with the form, they will even cover the return postage.
