I started metal detecing around 2009. Since then nearly everything I found nearly everything that could be possible.
Got my oldest metal find back from the State Office. Its a bronze arrow head from the late Bronze Age, around 1050 b.c.

Only time I did was on the beach and I got a 3 pound or so triangular weight. I also periodically find a horseshoe or horseshoe nails on my property just by walking around. Nothing there then next day the horseshoe is laying there like someone just placed it.

I don't have any experience with a "good" pinpointer from the big detector manufacturers, but this Harbor Freight special hasn't let me down.
