If you wanted to go /out/ solo for a week in Scandinavia during March/April and assuming that you are a foreigner, what would be the best place for that?

Malmö has fun city parts with lots of wild animals to watch. Don't get close tho, they are dangerous
I want to do kungsleden but it takes a month

A kinda bad time to do that, it will still be wet and snowy in the /out/ parts of scandinavia, especially the fells. The best place would probably be the fyordiest parts of southern Norway, so look that up.

Yeah, I'm a fucking retarded to forget that it isn't beach time in April everywhere like here.
But then again going later will probably suck because there will be tons of people wandering around I assume.

Certainly depends on where you go. Head up far enough and you can be completely alone during e.g. June. I like Jämtland but might be a bit far to travel for just a week.

April/march is great as far north as Trondheim, but you are limiting yourself to staying below the snowline. Lowland/coastland areas. I can recommend Runde outside of Ålesund. It will be free of snow and it's a bird reserve. Look for the house with a camper in the garden. They love taking in travelers for coffee, cake and smalltalk.

Western Norway is almost never snowy. This was today

Both Sweeden and Norway has "allemandsret" - which translates into something like "every man's right".
This means that you are allways allowed to camp anywhere you please in nature, as long as you aren't too close to peoples houses, aren't doing any harm to nature and don't stay there for too long
