You guys have a spot? Maybe few people know about. Maybe you even discovered it. Maybe its is a well known area.

Just somewhere you really like and feel comfortable in.

If so describe or pics.

This is mine. Its a bend in a canyon where the water slows down and gets deep. Perfect swimming spot, and only a short bike ride into the bush from my house.

I've got a small cave I dug out near a campsite that I'm sure I'm the only one to have been there. Area kinda looks like your pic, really rocky area of the river. Not very deep but the fishing is good.
I dug the cave out so I could store stuff that'd be cumbersome to hike out each time, things like buckets/rope/tent steaks/hatchet you get the idea. It's 5 years old and no ones messed with my stuff yet. River had one of those 100 year floods and and got into it once, but I dug it out and up some more and hopefully that helps next time.
>>
I had a spot that I thought I was the only person that knew about it.

Hard to get to.

Climbing huge hills for miles completely off any paths.

Mentioned it on /k/, and two people knew the exact spot.

Sigh.

Grouse hotspots, dozens that are less than 10 acres in size, scattered throughout the National Forest. I don't take photos, because xif tagging and very few grouse hunters know what makes a honeyhole. I'm still learning after 40 years.

I have a few spots. this spot is on an small rock based island it has a slow sloping gravel beach. i scouted this isle over 5 years ago. it is a 11 mile round trip walking from the trailhead and you would have to wade and swim to get to it so it doesnt get any foot traffic. have also switched the trail markers to point to another cove 2 miles opposite. i have timed it and i can get there from the launch in 40 minutes with my boat. Ive built over 20 habitats with scavenged materials on the beach. I built a thatch hut but it was blown away in a storm. i have around a dozen pallets in the shed that i have been meaning to take over there to make a shelter but dont want to draw attention to it so i am waiting until i find some type of camo netting. to cover my boat and the shelter. with the habitats established i have no problem catching fish, shrimp and lobsters for the table. pic related.
>>
>>944883
How does that work with xif tagging? Because when I was in middle school I used to browse marijuana growing forums and people would always warn that cops were using xif data to track growers down, even with non-cell phone digital cameras.

Yeah one, there's a rocky hill about 400m high (1300ft) right outside of my village
The only access to the top is on foot and most people here are softcunts so pretty much nobody save me or a few friends go there since it's a rather quick but strenuous hike to the top.
There's a bench at the top and from here there's a nice view towards the Mediterranean Sea and the coastal plain on one side and higher mountains on the other side, perfect place to chill.
Granted it's not in a very wild place but it's comfy. Here's the hill on the left, will post a few more pics

My spot:

An abandoned chapel that was built in medieval times. The village around it was destroyed in the 1600s due to war and plague. It was completely lost in the woods. There is just a small path leading to it and even the locals from a small village a few miles away hardly ever go there. It's so peaceful and quiet. Whenever I really need time alone, I hike out there and spend a few days in solitude, setting up camp inside the old church...

I don't have a spot yet but I was thinking about finding one for a Long time now. Idealy somewhere not that far from the city, in the woods, where I can build a shelter and go chill out from time to time. Idealy it would be near some fishing water.

Estus Park, Colorado. Despite the whole city being a tourist trap, it's still a really nice surrounding area. Pic related is a nook I found nestled in between two vertical mini-mountains and I've yet to see anyone at said spot or in this area of the forest at all. It's a great view of the town and is really comfortable. The rocks are perfectly formed for lying/sitting on and the walls on either side of the nook generally protect from wind. I like to imagine what the valley would look like 100-200 years ago.
>>
My spot got blown up a few years ago, mostly when some fucker built a big fugly assed cookie cutter summer house near the easiest land access.

I found my ways in, as did others , but not long after the house went up, the shitbags moved in.

It was beautiful, the definition of secluded tropical paradise. A 20' spit of sandy ground connected to land by only a thin, heavily treed jetty. Right at the end of a little sawgrass bay that kept it out of sight from the boaters. 50' shallow area with smooth rocks on the bottom, great fishing, and best of all, two palm trees spaced perfectly for a hammock. It was beautiful.

Last time I was there, I already knew it had gotten busted, but this time, the place was littered with empty bud lite bottles, a radio just tossed into the water, ripped folding chairs and all sort of other trash. Cleaned up what I could but it was horrible. Even the water got fucked, they must have come in by boat and let it idle. Thick, nasty coating of gas and oil on the water.

Now I'm depressed...
>>
>>944732
mine got developed on by a project funded by the DeVos family. Not even joking a little.

my spot is my own property. Its several hundred acres all to myself which backs up to a state forest that I've never seen another sole in. I intend to keep it that way

I find it difficult to get /out/ these days but I've managed to find a lovely little spot about a mile and a half along the coast from where I live. It's not so good in the winter but from late spring all through the summer and into early Autumn it's great, I stayed out here for pretty much a week straight last year. The tide recedes near half a mile out over firm sand so I had a net out for mullet on the flats and even managed to get a couple of sea bass beach casting. Comfiest /out/ I've had in years

I spent most of the days lounging around carving spoons or scouting out dead fall and driftwood for fires in the evening. A couple of times my wife turned up to check in on me (I have issues getting around so she worries) and drop in some steaks but other than that it was undisturbed :)

I have numerous locations where I feel sort of a sense of freedom and comfort. This particular spot also has sentimental value to me. San Bernardino, California. The local mountains is where my dad and I have gone fishing in a small stream that takes a rigid hike to get to. Almost every time, we'd get lost on our way back. Anyways, a few years back we carved our names into a tree that overlooks the stream. Recently, my dad was shot and killed during a hunting trip. Of course I was hurt, but I was almost hurled into our private stream only to find that the tree we carved our name into burned down. It may not seem like much, but I've learned to let him go.
>>
>>950476
Anyways we should probably both leave our shit fucking states.

My spot is an island in the river made from collapsed pilings of an old bridge. I reach it by swimming, pushing a tube with my stuff on it ahead of me. On one side of the island there is a shallow sandy area with weeds, the other side becomes deep almost immediately. It is a great island for fishing, especially during the summer when the water is comfortable to wade in.

Exif data is the meta data of a digital file (aka your digital pic) it stores information about the camera and when it was taken, Etc. if you want to get rid of that data you need to strip the exif data or save it in a file format that does include the meta data (PNG, etc) . However, when white moot got hacked by Australians, he changed 4chan so the exif is stripped regardless of file type. At least that's my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong.

No pics.

Is an old hillside overlooking a local lake. Someone used to use it for a dump site. Always digging out old glass bottles and oil cans and such. Found a fiberglass front fairing for a harley in good shape.

Best friend and i used to hide back there and drink beer.

Killed himself last year.

Still cant make it to his headstone but i go out to the lake when i have a tough day.

Trying to quit drinking and was real slow at work.

Anxiety and depression dont leave much time for peace when i'm not busy working on something.

Got tenitus anyway. Dvds on loop or i will lose my mind.
