Lake Katherine, Santa Fe New Mexico. 11,745ft.
My favorite spot in town. Usually me and the doggo have it all to ourselves. Gorgeous in winter but I always forget to pack a camera...
Katherine again, low res but you get the idea.

Used to live on that mountain. It's only 30 minutes or so to Cloudland Canyon from that spot, so you can get a good days sightseeing/hiking in.

depends what you're looking for. there's a whole lot of semi-urban exploration (coalmines, abandoned limestone filing facilities, and factories) up in the north east part of the state where i am. If you're looking to go deep into the woods dolly sods is the place to be. you can find old coal towns in the middle of the woods there too
>>949029
but you could really go anywhere where theres alot of woods and hike around
just hope not to get shot:)

from black tusk a few km away and to the right of previous photo. Howe sound in the distance.
Fun fact lake Garibaldi is being held by a wall of volcanic rock that formed against a glacier. if "the barrier" as its called failed during an earthquake it would speed down the valley at over 100km/h and around 30 meters high wiping out 2 towns can causing a small tsunami.
