While in the suits on a space walk you'd be hearing all the suits electronics making noise and your own body noises. Most sound is muffled by the earpieces you wear for communications. While aboard the space station, there's no place for the vibrations to go, you get to hear everything making noise. It is kind of like your mother running the vacuum cleaner 24/7.

So, the only comfy you'll be getting is when your suit electronics shut off while out on a space walk.
