I just changed my Akubra Territory to an open crown, did go for a campaign crease but its kind of stolen valour even though it is legitimately to keep the rain from pooling in the crown.

Well I am a New Zealander and the campaign hat or "lemon squeezer" is synonomous with our Army particulary those that served in WW2, I couldnt be bothered fielding the questions and comments wearing a hat with the same bash.

I am on my second one....don't treat it with beeswax then lose it overnight innawoods because animals will chew it the hell up. Otherwise it has been very functional and works great in about any weather above freezing.

I'm not really that ugly I'm 21 I guess a hat just doesn't fit. But felt hats and wool clothes in general are still the best choice when you are getting wet
