moved to germany a few months ago and need to pick up some new

at the same time, if anyone has gear recommendations for me in terms of some nice freeride boots/bindings I'm all ears. All my stuff is super old, as I only really invested in freestyle stuff when I was doing a lot of riding and beat the shit out of it (layer seperation, core shots etc).

The only issue i have is that the boots are beat and don't hold my heel well. Cartels are fkd up but still fine, I just assume there are some benefits to updating 10 year old hardware

Alright, quick question to anyone who rides skiis or snowboard.
Lets say that I want to have some stupid fun and try going downhill on a raw plank of wood.
Would coating underside with ordinary candle wax make it slide better, or have an opposite effect and make plank stick to the snow?

Transworlds good wood (use the google) is what I use to check gear. I currently ride a gnu carbon credit that I love and is out of Merlin. If I was gunna get a straight freestyle board I would get a never summer. I think they have their own shop.

Heel lift sucks. Fix your boots first.
