How nice is Washington, Oregon, BC and Alaska? Are they the best /out/ places in the world?
If you have foggy OC photos from these places pls post and make an southern europoor happy.
Pendleton, Oregon.
Not very /out/ , but a foggy picture of Oregon nonetheless.
fyi for europeans Oregon has deserts it's very diverse
>>920420
Thanks mate
>Oregon has deserts
Didn't knew that. I was watching The Hunted once again and the rivers and forests are amazing. Portland seems to be liberal as fuck and filled with addicts though.
Best places in North America. Here is some fog.
And here is Mt. Baker
And some water falls. All OC for ya. I have more.
Foggy Alaska
>>920520
Alberta is pretty based too. A lot of The Revenant was filmed there.
Oregon is pretty nice

The Cascades are hell when it comes to mosquitoes but other than that they're gorgeous.

>>920405
Oregon fag here. California is better IMO but we're in the top 5 for outdoor stuff. Awesome waterfalls, gorges, forests and lakes. Central Oregon is fucking based along with the coast. Crater Lake is the deepest lake in NA. Awesome views everywhere.
>>920405
North Idaho is where it is at son.
>>922431
You on the eastside in the desert like me?
Grant County FTW.
Washington has every kind of outdoor activity you could dream of.
>>923568
I remember reading on /k/ that northern Idaho is full of far right, gun totting, survivalist, don't thread on me, European descendant people, is that true?
If so seems like a fine place indeed.
>>924034
It's the home of the Aryan Nations, so......
yeah!
I used to live in MN but moved to Salem, OR in the summer. Honestly apart from the sometimes hyper-liberal environment, Oregon is perfect. In the absolute deadline of winter it only gets to about 30°F and snows very little. There are mountains and rivers and cliffs and deserts and rainforests and it's great. 8/10, 10/10 without Portland.
>>924793
I'd rather have cold and snow than not see the sun for 4 months
>>924927
>than not see the sun for 4 months
Overblown meme
This last year especially was very sunny and dry

Incoming from Bend, Oregon. I've been to every corner of the US and The NW is by far my favorite. Can't speak for Washington but Oregon offers everything from the desert to the snow capped or green mountains and beaches. There's something there for everybody.
>>924973
>overblown meme my ass
>you obviously haven't lived in or long
>t. portland native
Western WA native my dude
This year was much less wet than other years. Even this winter, not too much overcast/rain
>>921129
the catwalk right there is the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on
>>924989
Until we broke rainfall records in november. Do you live in the Olympic Mtns rain shadow? Shit we had a wet spring and a wet start to summer 2016. Then it got wet again in Oct. The last 2 years prior shit got nice in May and stayed almost till Nov. It seems to be just now getting back to the regular pattern of wet.
>>921041
climbed Dragontail this November. The wind was insane at the summit. Strongest ive ever felt maybe

>>928596

>>928596
Oh and to answer your questions. Oyster dome is supposed to get logged so get it while you can . Raptor ridge is a great trail to Mountain Bike on. I helped on a build day when it was being put in. I haven't done skyline yet but its on the list once the snow line rises again.
>>927766
>All that forest
HNNNNGGGG
>>928670
Most of it's dead anon
Oregon.
Eastern Oregon is a really underappreciated part of the state.
>>928651
Oyster dome kinda sucks anyway. It's good for a workout but that's about it.
Not like I want it to get logged but it's not a big deal to me either.
>>920405
portland here. oregon is like the real middle earth. mountains, desert, big rocks, forest, rivers, jagged coast line full of cold water and enormous sharks...
this is sellwood beach south of downtown portland.

So, it's wonderful but the world is a big place.
>>929779
These are nice but this is not a Europoor thread
