Looking at picking up a canvas wall tent, prospector tent, whatever you want to call them for this winter (pic related). Anywhere to find one cheap but reliable? I was hoping to find one to fit 3 people and a stove. Not looking to spend $1000+. Any experience with them?

Frost river has great tents
Make one from a cheap blue tarp if you're a cheap fag, fag.

That doesn't happen with canvas wall tents.
What you want to look at are surplus arctic tents from the US, Canadian and British militaries. You'll also want to look into tent repair to fix them. That's the best deal. Canvas tents need special attention and storage, and "dude let's buy a tent and go winter camping" isn't going to go well for you.
Here's a pic of a 10-man British arctic tent. Of course, you'll need a floor, too (just like for a canvas tent). This style and construction of military tent is a lot easier to care for than canvas.
Ref: Dad has ran canvas wall tents at deer camp in the mountains for 35 years, switched to arctic tents like the one pictured. Have used both a lot.
