I recommend for cleaning cloth to use smoke cleaning with herbs and enough water to then wring out the excess. But also just be active around sun up and sunset, don't waste energy and water during peak heat.

Lye soap. It's pretty much just wood ash and possibly some other ingredients. Not sure of the specifics on how to make it.

For starters you don't need separate body wash, shampoo and laundry soap. You can do all that with Castile soap. You can meme it up with Dr. Bronner or you can buy a generic brand off amazon, either way a big bottle will last you a long time.

To wash you clothes, get either a tub and washboard or you can use a dry bag with some smooth river stones in it.
