Hello, /out/. I'm going to a hippy festival inspired by Burning Man tomorrow. I'm not much of a hippy at all, for the record.
Some of the core tenants of the festival are self reliance and bartering. My experience with outdoors is limited to watching Ray Mears and a camping trip once, but I've always wanted to get into bushcraft, so I figure this might be a cool opportunity to give it a try.
I'm not expecting to accomplish anything too complex, but I want to try some basic stuff, hopefully even starting a fire on my own.
Could anyone advise me on what to bring, what I should try, and maybe some useful resources or guides?
Also, since you're expected to barter, my friend advised me to make some kind of crafts that I can trade to people. Is there anything I could make while /out/?

Drugs, cigarettes, shiny rocks, snickers bars or deer antlers are the top items to trade

Moist toilet tissue or baby wipes. Absolute arsehole savers at festivals. My brown-eye is usually the cleanest part of me at festivals. Absolute delight wiping with those fuckers after your first shite of the day.

Have fun. Don't pass out with your shoes on.
