How do I get into climbing alone and while not having a shitton of money to spend?
bouldering gym
>Find cliff or mountain side
>Climb it
Not rocket science, dude

Isn't that a bit monotonous, anon?

I have done that before but I need to experience something more difficult but also not totally unsafe at the same time.

No such thing as difficult and safe to do alone. Learn proper, git gud, and just then start planning your alone dreamed experience.

Screw that
get GoPro
find massive cliff
Climb
Get next of kin to post vid on out
>go to climbing gym
>start bouldering and using autobelay
>learn to belay and find somebody to belay you
>learn to lead and lead belay with partner
>learn to sport climb out
>learn to trad climb out
There you go. I was a very high ranking competitive climber as a younger teen, but i can still climb 5.12c despite weighing 200lbs.
Climbing is about time and connections. You need a lot of time and you need to get to know people to teach you things.
And dont post pictures of SO, theyre rappelling, not climbing. That is just one skill out of thousands you need to become well rounded.

Thanks for the advice.
>And dont post pictures of SO

Sadly climbing is one of the few things where there are hardly any cheap way to do it unless you want it unsafe as hell... dunno about you but I wouldn't jew out on something my life depended upon.

If you have some money, then >>853688 and >>853900 advice is good, but if not, >>853694
is right. I know you want something a bit more difficult, so find it - the safety comes from you climbing well and intelligently. You could at least do some outdoor bouldering if you're lucky enough to have rock near you.
