Hi this is my first thread here
I promised my friend I will take him hiking after he finishes his exams but the problem is I don't know what activity to do that isn't dangerous

Looks awesome, I also want to go hiking there. Trecks seem to be really easy, you need to have good trecking shoes, a rucksack with say 4 liters of water, some food and if you stay overnight a sleeping bag.

I'm just mostly scared of wildlife like snakes or hyenas tho never heard of people attacked by hyenas there
should i carry a weapon or something?

pic looks beautiful, good trick for wildlife is to walk with a stick and if animals come near hold the stick above your head so you seem like a much bigger animal and theyll keep their distance

Human voice is enough to scare away most animals. Just say "HEY BEAR" really loud and they'll leave you alone.
But in case of a hungry animal, bring a hatchet. Which you should in any case to chop firewood.
Also, try to build a bow while out there. Most newbies love that shit.
