What are you trying to spend? You really can't go wrong with the major brands. Never used the Lew's in your pic but they look straight for ~$40.

Shimano, Abu Garcia, Pflueger, Okuma, Daiwa, Quantum. Just pick something from any of them in your price range that looks good and you won't be disappointed.

Any reel. If you were fishing saltwater, pike, musky, or salmon it would matter, but you can reel in a 8 lb bass on any reel
