Went out to Pisgah this weekend and it got me thinking. I'd like to thru hike a portion of the AT over the course of two weeks to a month with someone who is just as interested to make that happen. I can't do the whole thing but I'd like to begin chunking it out, starting from GA.
Has anyone here done it before, who could share some information on meeting others who would be interested? I do know I can meet plenty of others on the trail. If anyone is interested in giving it a shot, let me know because I'd like to start talking about it ASAP and get something planned for 2017.

Went to the same place the weekend before you went. Didn't go all the way to shining rock because I was with some normies who weren't prepared. We just went up the Art Loeb spur trail to the first place with a view. Awesome place
