I found this kit for 65€

is there a flashlight that uses two 18650 under 100€?
I'd like to have a bit more power with me
>>
1000 lumens from one 18650 not enough for you?
>>
>>781308
Eeeeeh it's allright.
I'm actually looking with something with more flood, and small edc flashlight like this one don't quite cut it.

But for some fucking reason manufacturer think that if you want to use more than 1 battery you're an insecure compensating dickwaver and only make stupid shit with 2000 lumens in stupid barrel of fuck that's impossible to carry.

Sorry for the rant.

More flood? What about a mule head?

I'm sorry, I meant spread.

Single 18650 with extra batteries packed is the superior innawoods setup. Battery life is king, play to their strengths if you're going 18650. It might seem like a no brainer that you want the brightest light possible, but experience will tell that the lowest drain light that's bright enough is the best piece of kit if you do any serious backpacking. Personal recommendation is the convoy s2+, you can get the host alone for about $8 and put any emitter/driver your heart desires inside. Or get a complete one for $15 available with a wide variety of internals. Body is a++ and reflector/lens/button are good. it's just about the perfect level of floodiness for innawoods. Mine has a cree xm-l2 and I think I would go with something around 600-750 lumens next time because i rarely use 100% brightness.

to be fair the OPs flashlight in pic has up to 100 lumens, but has a settings button and can use as little as 0.3lumens at once depending on mode, i do agree with extra batteries though

What a coincidence I just got here (OP).

Very nice

when battery is charged ill take a closer look and compare to a couple other i have around. i got the warm white version btw
>>
>>782444
Well i got the battery charged and in the flashlight, and its really god damned bright for its size. The beam is pretty narrow which could be good or bad depending on what you are looking for. Although it reaches out pretty far as i can tell it does not seem to have much flood. Its sunny out right now so i don't have any useful pics of the beam itself as of now. The buttons and battery cap seem extremely snug and well made.

On the highest setting the front gets hot somewhat quickly, but its nothing unusual for lights like this.

also to add to this the clip that comes with it is high quality and removable, and the holster is nice and small with no extra unnecessary shit slapped on like i see some having.
