91% isopropyl alcohol and sand paper.

Im not joking. Sand down the first layer of skin then apply rubbing alcohol soaked rags. Let it sit. Yes it burns like fuck. You will not have poison ivy the next day. This is the most nuclear way to kill poison ivy.

Weed eating. I hit a bunch of poison ivy and got sprayed head to toe with the oils and didnt know it. Took a hot shower after. Woke up and realized I had fucked up worse than I could imagine. Didnt go to the hospital for 2 weeks because I wanted to ride it out. Was blind for a week and when it became hard to breathe I finally decided to let my friends take me to the hospital. They gave me 2 different types of steroids, called me an idiot and sent me on my way. It fucked with my head, I felt trapped inside my own body. 10/10 I will nuke my skin at any hint of poison ivy every time now.

I'm thinking hydrocortisone cream is gonna be your best treatment for something of this nature

Go to doctor. Get steroid shot. Also oral steroid. Cheap easy, cleared up in 3 days. Had over 75 percent of body covered, Doctor said I was 2 days from hospital admittance. Bite the bullet get it done, rest is waste of time.
