I am from Scotland and recently made a bit of money on the oil rigs. I really enjoy hiking bivvying, bushcraft and canoeing in the hill lochs.

I moved here about a year ago and finally have some free time and would like to do some /out/ things again. Is there anything at all to do in the Eastern third of the state? Theres a longass trail here that goes through 150+ miles of the state North/South ways but it's full of goobers and doesn't really pass through anything interesting from what I've seen from satellite photos.

If you go to Wisconsin be sure to go NORTH. Southern have of the state isn't great but the north has a lot of good /out/ing. If you are not familiar with the Brule check it out; some of the best fishing in the world. If I could move anywhere it would be near there.
