Any compound shooters or diamond infinity edge pro owners here?
On my IE, the plate thats used to adjust the DL catches on of the cables when drawing it back, this only occurs on the lower lower cam. DL currently set to 29". More pics inbound.
Pic mid draw, raised indentation on plate catching on the cable.
As I continue to draw back the bow, it snaps past with a loud twang. Is this ment to happen? Doesnt sound like it should happen, dont wanna release an arrow with it getting caught like this.
At full draw
Pic is when bowstring is at rest
Colored to help explain.
Red circled part on the cam, is a little part that snags into the cable highlighted by the red circle. Yellow part is what the cable is attached to.

From that view, yes.
When you bought the bow, did you have it set up by a professional or did you just start drawing it straight out of the box?
Take a pic of the lower cam so you're looking straight at the flat of the limb. The cam should just look like a little line and you should be able to see the axle. Like from the view of you holding it, except the lower cam instead of through the sights.

Like this? Tried to take it as centered and steady as i could.
Havent taken it to a professional yet, was gonna take it to a local archery shop to install the peep sight it came with.
All Ive done so far once taking it out the box are attach the stabalizer and wrist strap it came with, lower the draw weight and adjust the draw length to 29inches. Only then did i start drawing it back (arrow nocked) and find this probelm. Havent done much else with it.
Should I set it to a different DL to see if it has the same probelm?

Yes, that's the angle I wanted.
That lip that it's skipping over? It's supposed to stop the string, that's the "back wall" for the cam. Did you set BOTH the top and bottom cams to your correct draw length? The string should not be able to go past it. This is a symptom of having one cam set to a longer draw than the other cam.
Don't draw it any more. Take it into a bow shop, let them fix it. Full bow setup should be under $30, this includes basic tuning.

Heres a pic of the top cam, I swear I set both to the same DL setting.
But, I'll stop mucking with it and take it to the bowshop tomorrow

They are not set the same, no.

Uhh, no i bought it new off amazon
Ok, im a blind idiot. I'll readjust the DL and make sure the are the same, and ill retighten the limb bolts all the way down, then count the same turns on both. If it starts to snag ill stop.
Then ill take it into the bowshop tomorrow and have the tune everything and install the peep.
Btw what do you mean by "Top cam isnt even touching the pully cable"?

Bottom
Gonna back the limb bolts out again to lower the DW, do my best to count the number of turns to make both limbs as even as possible
It seems to all be working, no more snagging, that lip seems to be working as a back wall now.
Gonna take it in tomorrow to finish tuning and everything.

That looks much better
