I'm looking for a year round tent for moto-camping. I've camped out before on cheap tents, but I'm unfamiliar with tent brands and models.
Any suggestion of models and/or brands that would fit 2 people (mainly it will only be me sleeping there and my gear) and easy to build and disassemble as I will be doing that everyday.
thx /out/

Moto specific really isn't anything special, unless you have pole length requirements to fit inside of a hard pannier. I'd go for something in the same style as the REI Half Dome 2 Plus. Proven design, easy to set up, available from multiple companies. I use a one person tent and store all of my stuff on the bike.

if "year-round" means welsh winters and alpine summers, any 2/3man 3 pole tunnel with a big porch will suit. two of you can sit on low stools and still have room to cook.
alternatively a slumit pitches and packs up almost as fast as an umbrella (which is a godsend if tent-packing annoys the shit out of you) but it's less spacious than a tunnel. the porch is enough to keep your boots and lids in the dry, but you can't live in that space, so you'll be bringing wet muddy gear, food and drink into the same space as your sleep kit, and that's not smart.
don't bother with canvas tents unless you're a sidecar, they're dependable and long-lasting but they're immensely heavy when packed up wet.

I live in Florida but I don't plan in camping here, I'm mostly planning to go ride out west or even up north in the summer/ spring

I'll be mostly doing highway miles, so dirty gear shouldn't be a problem. I'll definitely look into Slumit tents and see what works for me.
