Hello, I come from /bant/ so I don´t know very much of /out/ but they told me to come here to ask for advice.
I´m going to pass the night with a couple of friends in a pic related terrain, they are bringing all their camping tents and mine just got rekt a couple of days ago so I don´t have where to sleep (probably with a friend but let´s say I have to sleep outside) what techniques could I apply to bear the night, the kinda cold temperature and the rain because is going to rain probably.
All I have until now is a thick quilt and a thin one, one black plastic bag for trash, a swiss knife and a backpack.
What would yo dou with tose to improve your comfort and don´t pass it so bad?

I came to say drugs and alcohol also. Sleeping under a quilt with no pad in the rain is just going to suck balls no matter what.
So either skip the trip because you are just going to suffer and bring everyone down or be that crazy drunk bastard that makes the story epic. I hope this is just a night and maybe 2 at most.

How much time do you have to prepare? Like these other anons said, you kind of NEED a ground pad. If you can't get one, see if you can get a pile of moss and/or pine boughs to sleep on. I think the easiest answer is to sleep in a friends tent.
By quilts do you mean pic related? Like actual camping quilts... or do you mean like blankets from your house?
You need yo stay warm laying on the ground. A pad is essential. Not sure where you live, but if in the USA you can get a sleeping mat from Wal-Mart for like $12, they're blue and usually ozark trail brand. They will work in a pinch.
If you can't afford a tent, just buy a tarp and pitch it as a tent. There are tons of ways to use a tarp.
