That not Hyperion, you can find the location of Hyperion online at famousredwoods.com and the locaton of hyperion even has a photo sphere next to it on google maps if you look at the location

Its pretty hard to get too still, gotta get a petmit and gate key to drive down the long road to trail head, then hike 3 miles down the trail, then bushwack and hike up a creek 1 mile to find Hyperion
You can see on famousredwoods.com that it is located in the Valley of The Lost Groves
little known fact but there is a preserved area of old growth forest with huge fucking trees (for the area) in western north carolina. to imagine that the entire east coast was filled with giant beings like that is insane. joyce kilmer forest.
