only slight problem is i dont have a lightweight waterproof jacket, and it may rain on the first 2 days. and its like 11pm now so I dont really have time to get one... I might if i leave really early though.

A stool is worthless and probably heavy. I hope the 3.5L of water you mentioned are just your maximum capacity, and you're taking what you need to filter and/or purify more.

What kind of agenda do you have? Are you walking all 5 days? Just driving into the middle of nowhere and camping?

we'll be pretty much going into the middle of a national park and camping, hiking around after

nope but the tent has an instruction sheet and i'll improvise something for the tarp with the rope

my friend has the cooking stuff so i dont need to carry an extra burner or anything

Just got back from a trip in the South West, me and a buddy took a canoe along the kennet and avon canal and camped along the way. Found some cool pubs on the way too.

This is a must man, we're in England after all, you cant neglect that. Get up early and grab a cheap one, you will not regret it when that rain comes in.

You haven't mentioned anything at all about light? You should have AT LEAST 1 torch and a lantern of sorts. The torch so you can do shit in the dark (like put up a tent if you run out of light) and the lantern to put inside the tent so you can see shit in there easily.

>Cooking items
Do you have any pots? Mess tins? You need something to cook food in and eat from. YOu also need utensils.

>Spare clothes
Make sure you have decent layers, spare socks etc. Waterproof trousers if you can...

untensils are a good idea but he will have some too
Ive got water proof trousers and socks, just dont know if i need to bring an extra shirt or anything

I will try to get a jacket though. I do have a waterproof but its big and made for winter so it will be to heavy I think.

For 5 days all you really need is a water source (filter or some shit).

Food is also nice though, and a heat source for cooking even better.

Unless you're in some hardcore wilderness or something you'll probably do fine, going /out/ is pretty easy all in all.

Just watch into the wild movie and you'll be fine.
