As a guy that interacts with snakes on a daily basis for research I can assure you that 99% will fuck off, 95% of them before you even see them. The ones that stay usually haven't noticed you until you're right up on them and they feel like they have to scare you off, even the ones that stand their ground will likely fuck off as soon as they think they can without you getting them
