Well to get back on subject, i tested the first shits i made with lint and i got avg of 7 min each.

Made these new things instead, longer time 13-15 min, easier to light

Two compressed cotton balls with twine string tied around them, dunked in liquid vasoline, put into egg cartons, pour liquid wax over them, trim the excess cardboard

I've also seen a similar recipe using wood shavings instead of vaselined dryer lint. Not sure how they compare in flammability, but the smell will probably be better, so that might be worth trying.
