Sup, getting kicked out at the end of the month. Planning on getting something like this and setting up camp innawoods. I got about $100 saved what should I do to survive. I've been camping a few times so I know the basics but is getting food easy?
>>
>>1063900
If you don't have the gumption to get a job or save money or maintain personal connections what makes you think you have the gumption to live in the woods and burn upwards of 4000 calories per day trekking 20+ miles per day and laboring 16 hours a day, regardless of weather?
>>
>>1063905
>20 miles

Is that how far from the tent the food is? No bully I'm just wondering if this is doable and a good plan.
>>
OP, do you have a bike? You could travel on a bike (Use your $100ish to buy used panniers and cheap supplies) looking for odd jobs to do for cash. Easy 100 miles a day instead of harsh, expensive trekking for maybe 20 miles a day.
Innawoods has no access to money, restrictions on how long you can camp, and little access to food unless you're hunting and fishing (expensive)
Buy beans and rice and you can survive off of that for dollars a day.
>>
>>1063900
well, seems like you're dead in a month. considering this, you might want to stock up on things that might help you survive. make a list of everything you need and could have use for (see prepper/survival tips).

You can just order it via Amazon/ Ebay. Even if you don't have the money, some will send stuff before recieving payment. Just order the same stuff from many vendors. This will put you in debt and might be considered fraud (expect conseqences of your action)... still, this might help you survive.
>>
>I got about 100 dollars saved
Damn
>>
>>1063912
Oh, I see the issue here. You're retarded. By "food" do you mean raiding your mom's pantry while shes at work?

I literally had more money than that saved by the age of 10...

Do you have anything besides a terrible idea?
What are you going to do about clean water? What are you going to do about food? Do you know what plants are edible? Do you know how to hunt, fish, scavenge? Do you know how to make traps? Do you even have a knife? What are you going to do about personal hygiene? Do you know how to make a fire? What are going to do about firewood? Do you have an axe and a saw? What about clothing, what happens when your junk shoes and clothes start to fall apart? Do you know how to process game? How are you planning on not freezing to death in the winter? Being a mountain man is a full time job...and I doubt you're up to the challenge.

Stop being an angry sperg, dude. OP has good manners so we should try and reciprocate that.

>>1063900
I hate to rain on your parade, but that is in no way shape or form a viable plan. Here's what you do.
1. Get a bus ticket or something
2. Go to local homeless shelter
3. Crash there while mowing lawns/shoveling snow for money
It isn't really any of my business as to how you got in this situation, but you're pretty much looking at being broke and homeless for the foreseeable future. The best you can do is start hoarding money and try to get back on your feet. Another thing to look into is if any local farmers are looking for farmhands to help around their place. It's hard, dirty work, but it'll pay good enough and some of them will let you pitch a tent/pull a trailer on their property to live in for a while. I'll be rooting for you, buddy.
>>
>>1064000
and what exactly is Op going to mow lawns and shovel snow with? His best bet would be to find any bullshit laboring job and start asap. If he wants to live in a tent, he could probably find a local park with long term camping that also offers facilities like clean water, restrooms, and maybe even showers if he is lucky.
>>
Every fucking night with these threads. See if the military will take you.
>>
>>1063993
Whao Debbie Downer here. Humans are capable of adapting right?
>>
>>1064000
He doesnt have good manners. Hes asking questions that he should be able to answer himself. If he cant, he needs an asshole like me to bring some serious critical thinking into his pathetic life.
>>
>>1063900
Ah, this thread again... No, you can't do it; sorry, but wilderness survival is a developed skill just like everything else.

You may as well apply to be a CFO at Google because, well... you know the basics of balancing a checkbook.
>>
>>1064000
>OP has good manners so we should try and reciprocate that.
If he's being a stupid nigger, he's being a stupid nigger. It's ok buddy, no one will know you were anonymously mean to an idiot, they won't see your username in the future and think "wow that guy is a bully."
>I'll be rooting for you, buddy.
Rooting for you to get your fucking life together OP.
>>
>>1063900
>I know how to set up a tent and cook marshmallows over a presto log fire, does that mean I can tell the difference between a perfectly edible puffball and a juvenile deathcap?
Sure, man. You'll be fine, just eat whatever looks good.
>>
Water filtration and container.
Used pellet rifle for game and pan to cook in.
Lots of books from library for something to do.
550 paracord / knife
>>
>>1064012
Best plan
>>
>>1064125
No, it's really not. OP doesn't have the work ethic to maintain employment [getting kicked out at the end of the month] or the will power to save money [I got about $100], greatly overestimates himself [a few times so I know] and is looking to have everything handed to him [food easy?]. A recruitment officer would promise him the world and then put him in the front lines to reduce the amount of ammo the enemy has available to fire at real soldiers.

What OP should actually do is screencap this thread and submit it as his SSI application so that he can prove his mental handicap.
>>
u prefer gettan berried or cremated OP ?
>>
>>1064071
>You may as well apply to be a CFO at Google because, well... you know the basics of balancing a checkbook

He only got a hundred bucks saved, so clearly he doesn't.

OP's problem is that he's failing at life and it's never occurred to him that agriculture and civilization were invented for a reason. Being good at living /out/ requires physical and mental toughness, training, practice, and hard work. If he had these things, he wouldn't be contemplating this as a desperation plan.

OP, get your life together and then pick up /out/ as a hobby. Just like homesteading, camping is not an easy pass from all your problems.
>>
>>1063900
I would say the whole "necessity is the mother of invention" thing applies to bushcraft and survival but you obviously have no skill base to begin on if you are considering blindly wandering into the woods. Sorry but you'll likely abandon this plan a week or 2 after heading out.
>>
>>1064130
I already got turned down for social security because I was assigned the "bad judge" who rejects everyone. If I got the other judge in my area it would have been approved
>>
>>1064236
Just enlist guy. I did 11 years of combat arms in the army. Take the asvab, if you do well, pick a nice easy office job. If you're a borderline retard, take truck driver, laundry/bath or cook. All you have to do is show up to work on time and all your basic necessities are met.
>>
>>1064130
this is pretty spot on in my eyes.

military could fix some one the issues, but i would say the mental health needs fixing first. like use the resources at hand to become and functioning adult first.
>>
>>1064012
Ship out times can be months.
>>
>>1064240
This. And you get out with all manner of benefits and a shiny military career on yout resume, plus it'll be easy to save up while you're in. And hey, you'll probably even get to go /out/ a little and learn more about innawoods. So the fallback plan is still there, but it's better.
>>
OP dont listen to any of these /in/ yuppie fucks. Of course you can live in a fuckin tent innawoods. If thousands of broken old bums can do it with nothing then you sure as fuck can do it with 100 bucks. Dont let anything hold you back.
All you autists foaming at the mouth ITT get fucked.
>>
>>1064309
Nobody said he couldn't. They said he shouldn't and there's better possibilities than that. /out/ should be a hobby, not a full-blown lifestyle. Believe it or not, there's a reason people decided to stop living in tents and lean-tos several thousand years ago.
>>
>>1064317
>/in/
Get fucked. OP didnt ask if you faggots thought it was a better idea to get a job/education/military career. He asked if he could go live innawoods and he can you moist stepping motherfucker
>>
>>1064317
>out should be a hobby
Get out normie reeeee
>>
>>1064331
well the answer to OPs question would a clear no. with basically no discussion. but that would be boring so people try to give advice that at least hast some chance of success.
>>
>>1064317
Yeah but OP hardly comes off as a hardened man of nature
>>
>>1064339
>a clear no
Maybe for you /in/ NEETs and grandpas.
>>
>>1063915
>fishing
>expensive
$10 worth of chinkshit braided fishing line, a literal stick, and an hour spent walking the banks of your local public fishing spot once a month will keep you geared enough to fish effectively for the next decade.

Depending on where you live, a fishing license ranges from not required to at worst $15 a year, and if you're like OP and are a huge piece of shit the odds of getting caught fishing without a license are slim.
>>
>>1064022
Intelligent ones are, yes.

so you say a person with 100$ the level of experience of a few camping trips, and the believe that the food needed to sustain yourself is easy to find outdoors. that wants to set up a camp inna woods.

will succeed in a life as hermit?

sure there is always the possibility he will turn into ray mears and prosper, but come on thats like 1%
>>
>>1064362
OP isnt going into the fucking wilderness you neckbeard babby faggot. He is going innawoods near civilization where barring literal retardation it is impossible to starve. this is also a slow creep towards non retarded idea like a homeless shelters. etc certain camping not in the woods...

Are you literally fucking retarded or what? Didnt your parents teach you to not voice your shit opinion on things you know absolutely nothing about? You are babby tier. Git gud faggot. Go back to whatever shit board you came from and leave /out/ to the people who actually fucking go outside you god damn /in/ pleb.
>>
>>1064373
Hes right, though. You're a faggot. Also it takes ten seconds of googling to know you can feed yourself indefinitely dumpster diving. There are whole communities and movements out there doing it every day. You come off like a butthurt teenager who has never had to worry about not getting his weekly allowance so he can go buy weed, Hot Pockets, Little Debbie and Mt. Dew to play Call of Duty for 4 days straight. I agree with the other anon, you need to go back.
>>
>>1064378
You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Most of the food that's available at food banks isn't viable for people living in homeless shelters. You think they each get supplied with a kitchenette and mini fridge? Aside from the occasional banana, there's not a whole lot that they can use from those places.
>>
>>1064414
What the fuck are you even talking about can you fucking read? Have you ever been to a fucking food bank or shelter? Im gonna go with an overwhelming NO because shelters literally feed you all your meals even if its shit food and food banks will yield bread, pastas, peanut butter, canned everything and you can cook that shit on a campfire. Could you be more /in/? Jesus titty fucking christ.

First, if you feel you need SSI, hire a disability lawyer and see if you can apply for SSDI. Then, go to DSS during intake and ask someone there what your options are. Ask about the job board, ask about job training and education programs. If that's not fruitful, go to your local SS office, it's like going to the DMV, get a number, wait, talk to someone. If that's not fruitful regarding the direction you need to go in, find an agency like Office of the Ageing or a disabled services non-profit (even a community mental health center might have a drop-in) and ask for help. As a disabled person with no housing and no resources, you might get meals on wheels to deliver to your tent. Food Not Bombs will feed anyone not just sjw's, they have professional squatters and couch surfers in their groups. If you're doing this to avoid child support, etc., you need a skill that makes off the book cash and I'm not judging (fix things, build things, run models in an escort agency). Don't double dip. You're either disabled or not. They investigate fraud.

When you have a thousand saved, look into FHA loans and buy a house.

My suggestions are because stress, lack of sleep, lack of nutrition, lack of support, etc will not help your mental state.

Wherever you go, there you are.

Good luck.

I think it's OP losing his temper because his camping trip escape fantasy isn't getting the applause he thinks it deserves.

When people start losing their shit like that, it's because they're trying to bull their way through on bluster. Lashing out at people trying to give good advice is how he got in this mess. Guys like that end up like OP: broke, friendless, unable to hold down a job, and without any skills. When he loses his cell acct, he'll be calling the invisible neckbeards in his head titty fucking bitch faces instead of us.
>>
>>1064554

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Dude I am a professor at a research university with a PhD in a science. No idea what my IQ is, but I test well and have scores through the roof at all the HS, undergrad, and graduate aptitude and achievement tests. So whatever all that says about my actual intellect (let alone common sense) is debatable, but as far as a recruiter looking at test scores goes, on paper my intellect is through the roof. I took the ASVAB on a lark, did extremely well and the recruiter hounded me for MONTHS. Those guys have numbers to meet, and the military needs recruits.

There are plenty of nerd jobs in the military for enlisted men. Clerks, translators, computer guys, techies, etc. Even in infantry, high intelligence is great if the other essential qualities are there.

So one of two things happened. Either you just are totally unsuitable and the recruiter was trying to let you down easy, or you're full of shit.
>>
>>1064588
I was referring to high iq, not high iq for blacks
>>
>>1064593
>I think it's OP losing his temper

Which post is that? You seem so angry that I was praised for being well mannered early in this thread that you created this entire scenario in your imagination. You might want to think about your behavior. It's people like you that lash out at sensitive kind people like me which make society a non starter
>>
>>1064554
I can call 100% bs on this. I recruited for my last 3 years. The only way an applicant is rejected on test score is if you can't muster a 31 afqt. 99 is the highest and anything over a 50 gets you whatever you want provided you are otherwise qualified and a vacancy exists.
>>
>>1064609

The IQ limit for police is about 110, Compared to a genius that cop is retarded so it makes sense to have dumb cops to deal with the criminals who are retarded compared to them. Any iq over 130 makes you unemployable (on average) although some do really well

>>
If you don't care how long you actually live, then technically you can live anywhere...you could live in the vacuum of space. I just think it is funny that some people (person) in this thread thinks that someone who has a 100 dollars, thinks they should be on social security disability, and has probably never eaten a meal that wasn't chicken tendies cooked in a microwave would survive living in the in the woods for any consequential amount of time. Do you actually think that those crusty old homeless people you see frozen to death on the curb have survived like that for any substantial amount of time? I am sure there are some how have lived like that for a very long time, but that is the exception not the rule....it is much more likely that those old hobos you see are recently homeless, and it is even more likely that they will be dead come first winter. Living /out/ is a full time job and it takes skill and determination, being a homeless fucking street urchin begging for scraps and scavenging for half eaten cheese burgers in the dumpster behind Mc D's is not living /out/ you faggot.
>>
>>1064639

'Ey, bro. Now, I know it's real tempting to get up on a high horse and act like King Shit 'cause you can't do it in real life since people would beat your ass for it, but lets treat a fellow human like a human, yeah? It would be more productive to teach this sad fuck some basic survival shit or point them in the direction of where to pick them up instead of being full of yourself.

>>1063900

SAS Survival Handbook is your friend, homie. Familiarize yoself with it. Learn about local flora that's edible and non-toxic, and how to distinguish it from local flora that's inedible and/or toxic. Learn how to rig up traps, learn how to treat/stabilize wounds and injuries, learn how to process and preserve game. Learn about sterilization and shelter security. Leave caches of supplies. Learn about knots. Learn about insulation and preventing hypothermia/dehydration. I suggest picking up the bowyer's bible and learning the basics of making a bow 'n arrows, and cordage from fibers as a makeshift bowstring.
>>
>>1064629

That was one case in one town in Connecticut more than 20 years ago. Several former cops have ended up as law school professors, including one in a top faculty. A friend of mine studied astrophysics at an R1 public university before becoming a cop. Law enforcement (like the military) has plenty of room for high IQs.

>>1064624

This sounds similar to what I hear from recruiters and matches my experience.

I mean, go ahead and tell yourself whatever, OP. It's your life, whatever remains of it. You wanted advice about wandering out into the woods and camping forever because society. And because you're down to $100. We're telling you that this is suicide and providing you with alternatives to turn your life around. Which is a hell of a lot better than other boards.
>>
>>1064680
>One case

That's how precedents work. Its established law now that they can legally discriminate against high iq. You can also discriminate in favor of women and minorities thru affirmative action it 100 other programs
>>
>>1064536

The best part about you baby bottom bitches trying to argue my points is that you dont even touch them, you just spew whatever dumb shit you made up in your own head. Not even touching the legitimate troll shitpoats ITT. Youre fucking delusional if you really think you cant live innawoods. Talk about chicken fucking tendies, you have em at every meal microwaved by dear old mom who puts a 10 in your pocket and lets you suckle her fucking tits to go to sleep at night. Get fucked.
>>
>>1063993
Kinda off topic but thank you for reminding me of that movie.
>>
>>1064000
Well as for the farming thing, you could look into WWOOF, at least for a start. You wouldn't get paid, no, but as long as you can get from farm to farm you'd have a roof over your head and food in your belly for as long as you can you can stomach it. Maybe eventually you can find a farmer who would hire you on as a farmhand after your time with them is up, but I'm not 100% sure on the T&C or if this actually happens.

But if you have a friend who is willing to take you in for a little while before you can find a job, that's a lot better, because having an actual address to put down on your application is way better than putting down the homeless shelter in the eyes of an employer. But for the love of god, try to get out of that friend's house as soon as possible, and be sure you pay them back in some way, be it doing all of their chores and whatnot or paying them some form of rent when you can.

Otherwise, I'd say find a homeless shelter and a temp agency.

What do you actually have to use? Do you have your social security card? Do you have a car? Do you have any useful possessions?

Don't become a woodsman if you've only "been camping a few times." That is how you die, my dude. That's like thinking you could move to China tomorrow because you took a year of Mandarin in High School. You'd be fine for a little bit, maybe, but anything long term is going to be difficult and filled with unexpected trials and problems, and if you don't have the guts for it, it's going to be miserable. For $100 you could maybe get a tent, a sleeping bag, and a knife, and maybe a little bit of other stuff if you were really cheap. You could probably even get some food from a local food pantry. But equipment you get for less than $100 is not gonna be designed for anything more than going camping on a weekend in the summer. Come winter, you'll be fucked, even if the stuff you get lasts that long.
>>
>>1064690

You obviously don't know how precedents work. That particular one applies only in the second circuit. And notice how you went from saying that municipalities DO do that, to that they conceivably COULD do that? It's not a common policy for police and not a policy at all for recruitment of enlisted personnel for the military. In fact, it was a novel precedent in part because basically nobody else hires cops that way. And yet you're taking the hiring policy of a single town in Connecticut from the 90s as evidence of a nation-wide policy that affects both the police and armed services.

Then there's this guy >>1064624 who actually worked as a recruiter and knew the policies first hand.

If the recruiter told you this (as opposed to you just bullshitting) he was letting you down easy. You need to take a hard look at your life, lifestyle, and behavior and ask yourself how you got here. Are you mentally ill? Many homeless people are. Getting the treatment you need will do more for you than some dubious walk the Earth fantasy. It might make it possible for you to hold down a job and form lasting positive relationships, and use your money responsibly. Later once your life is together you can work on living /out/ as a hobby.
>>
>>1063900
Do it now OP! I'm living in the woods in Canada right now. Haven't had a 'job' in 8 years, no cash & live like a king in complete freedom. People have lived like this for thousands of years. Most are brainwashed into thinking they need to depend on others for their lives. These sad cucks telling you it can't be done are just emasculated by their own lives & don't want to admit they had options. DO IT ! It's really hard work, but my only regret is not doing it 20 years earlier. FYI To get you started; food banks often have tons of healthy food they throw out because their ghetto clients want Wonder bread & Cheese Wiz. I got about 500lbs of beans, lentls, etc. to start out. Just ask. You can have edible veggies 2 weeks after planting. If you really need cash grow something you can sell. Good luck !
>>
>>1064774
>It's really hard work
Yes, which OP proved several times over that he's not capable of. Which is why the voices of reason in this thread are telling him that he's not going to make it in the woods, or in the military. Because if he had an ounce of gumption, he wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
>>
>>1064803
Ya, but you become capable. Survival is good motivation. Kid's gotta learn
>>
>>1064808
How many people who grew up with survival fantasies actually ended up being capable of staying out for more than a week at a time as adults? Probably about the same number that ended up becoming firemen. And they didn't start by running into the first burning building they saw, they trained and studied under experts and got equipped with the proper gear.
>>
>>1064816
I did it. First thing I learned was that everything I was told/read was bullshit. Proper gear wears out, "experts" tend to just know the environment in their area, etc. No substitute for experience. Anyway, I did it & I was lazy as fuck. Just regret I wasted all those years living as a slave; so want others to know it's possible.
>>

I never said people can't live in the woods, I said that some bitchmade man child can't live in the woods. If you cannot make it in civilization, you sure as fuck are not gonna make in the woods. Modern human civilization is literally designed to let people that never would have or could have, survive. It has never been easier to stay alive than it is right now. Go break your leg out in woods 50 miles from fuck all with no idea how to set the bone or put it in a splint. Don't get me wrong, I would personally love to go live out in the woods, but I am not fucking delusional enough to think that I could do it on 30 days notice with 100 dollars to my name and zero relevant prior experience besides roasting some fucking smores at the local camp grounds.

So many haters saying op can't do it. Here's what you do op. I think you should have a sleeping bag or some blankets to sleep in. Use a tarp on the bottom to prevent moisture if that's a thing in your climate. Use a tarp above to prevent rain and stuff hitting your spot. Choose somewhere hidden. Have s metal cup or pan that you can cook in. Have a lighter for starting fires to cook on. Will you be hauling water or will you be by a creek? Depending on the area you could forage wild plants for food. Give me your general location and I can provide a list of wild food to eat. For bathing I recommend a 2-3 gallon pot with a bar of soap and a smaller cup or ladle. You boil the water then wait for it to get to your comfortable temperature. Then you pour the water starting from head down to your feet then your butt. Lather the soap on you and after scrubbing yourself you rinse off with more water. When you need to poop be away at least 300 ft. It's a good idea to dig a whole to poop in. Just squat for your pooping position then wipe your ass with stones, sticks, branches, toilet paper or baby wipes which are my favorite. I like to wipe my ass with something wet after preliminary wipes then wipe it again with something dry. It's good to have at least 2 sets of clothes so you can wash the dirty set while you wear the clean one. Just put it in your 2-3 gallon pot After the water has stopped boiling but is still hot and add in some generic hand soap. Scrub then rinse with fresh water then squeeze it dryish. Depending on where you live it may not dry easy. If it's squeezed till its only moist then you can wear it till it dries. I recommend really keeping your socks and shoes dry. Having s bike might be good. Also having some sort of income flow is good to. If you want tips on how to generate income come back to this thread and ask.

>in the US you will literally end in the streets or starve to death if you have no means
I mean socialism in Europe is pretty shit and they do fuck you in the bum daily with fucking taxes but there's no way you end in the streets here other than being for your own will. Nor starving for all that matters, for well adjusted people it's too much of a nanny state but for people like op that happen to be unlucky or fucked up is a lifesaver.

Seriously op, if you're brown move here because you even have priority, enjoy your housing, free food, healthcare and money for you daily needs.

Well for starters you can go on craigslist and look at their jobs section. Maybe you'll find something you like or is easy to do like entry level construction or some sort of odd job. The other way to get some money is to go house to house in your area in the evening on weekdays or afternoon on weekends and ask the people living in those houses if they want any chores done like mowing or weeding or doing dishes or picking up poop or gardening. Just let them know your available and give them your number or email if you don't have one or set a time to come back and work for them. You could also google what is edible in your area and then forage it and prepare it and sell it on a intersection with a sign. Or you could make some sort of art like willows woven to make a crown. It costs you only your time and it gets you money while making another person happy.

This has nothing to do with enlisting in the military.

Yeah, it was a classic. They toned the story down a lot, though, to make Johnson a relatable everyman instead of the gigantic literal psychopath and cannibal he was depicted as in Thorp and Bunker's biography of him.

Of course no one knows exactly how many liberties Thorp and Bunker took with the story, and Thorp was the kind of guy who thought an episode where the protagonist hacks off a man's leg at the knee while he's still alive so one could carry it as a food source while trekking through a blizzard was proper badass. So maybe the movie was truer to life than the book.

That should be a thing, the negative /out/ board focusing on building a neet cave extraordinaire.

I posted in another thread about this, but I plan on killing myself unironically through /out/. I want to travel across the united states, exploring all I can.
It will show I am weak and will die off, ceasing my worries. Or I'll learn some inner strength and make it. Either way I find it a win.

I understand it won't be easy. I fully expect to suffer till I die or get the hang of things, even then I know it will be difficult. But I feel like I need this. I've had dreams of me being free in the wilderness. Looking for something. I was always drawn to something in those dreams. Maybe I'll find it, maybe it's death. But am I wrong for wanting to go out like this?

The hardest part would be happening on a place that has internet to upload progress. I don't really plan on following highways to major cities unless it's in my path of travel.

Establish a penpal, drop a parcel in the mail whenever you're near a town with a post office and have your penpal upload the transcript and post any pictures (mail via microSD card or whatever).

Maybe you should learn to build some resistance to help with that sensitivity.

If you're being kicked out of society, you can:
a) Blame society
b) Look at where you could've done better and look to improve that in the future

Seems a little self-absorbed to me. There's plenty of dangerous and fulfilling work so if you want to die or grow, why not do it trying to help people?
>>

The world is surprisingly simple. "If you do X, you get A. If you do Y, then you get B." Work hard. Study in school. Keep your temper under control. Help others. Follow the rules. Exercise and eat right. Get a job and do it. Don't be a dick.

None of this is very hard and kids get these lessons hammered into their heads their whole lives, and yet people still act shocked and aggrieved when they do the wrong thing and get the wrong outcome as a result.

JRR Tolkien saw a lot of the world before he wrote Lord of the Rings, and I'm reminded of Saruman at the end. All the terrible things he did, and he can't even admit to himself or anyone else that it was wrong because pride. All he does instead is obsess about all the wrongs the world did to him and how unfair it is. I think Tolkien saw quite a lot of people like that in his life.

Anyway, OP, get your life together. If you can't control your temper, or you fuck off and mope instead of doing your job, or want to be a cool-ass social rebel-- whatever it is, go see a psychiatrist and a counselor and start cleaning up. The world's not doing this to you, you are.
