as long the rubber is good its fine, and one should get fresh filters anyways. but its for LARPing so who cares, if you really need it you don't buy that stuff. work stuff is cheap. hell even diving gear can adapted and won't be 30 years old.

I have 2 israeli civilian masks, with NBC filters.

NBC is important for larping, but it actually works provided the chemical agent isnt reactive on your skin or you have adequate skin protection.

If you don't want to walk around in a tyvek suit, you can just go buy a 3m mask with 95-100 rated filters. Separate goggles because 1 size doesn't fit all.
