After spending a fortune over the years on high end outdoor gear I have started to buy my stuff at decathlon.
It's not half bad. I have fjallraven and berghaus pants but these 25 euro pants are my favourite now and really can take a beating.
Next I'll be buying a hammock and tarp for 30 euro total.
Have I been duped all those years?
Fuck off you faggot corporate shill

IDK about those pants, but decathlon in general is great for low quality at very low prices.
Seriously, it's good for anything that you can compromise on quality, you can't beat it FOR THE PRICE.
Their merino shirts are the cheapest on the market, their sneakers are cheap and good enough, the basic tents and hammocks work pretty well, it's a good store.

>25 euro pants
This is an american board . Try /int/ or /bant/
Those look kind of like prana brand pants, which are so ridiculously comfy and we'll priced IF you find them more than 30% off.
The only problem is that jeans and normal human pants have phased out of my wardrobe and I only have /out/ pants and vaguely slutty running shorts.

/out/ is almost /fa/ for grills nowadays

Pics?
I never this hole, "I spend every second weekend outdoors, so im going to spend a fortune on clothes". Fuck sakes, anyone who has an /out/ job wheres cheap quality shit. Fuck Ive worked all over the show and ive never had anything more pricey then my swanndri oilskin vest.

some things are worth paying good money for. The overpriced shit is actually how most /out/ companies make the good money because a $300 patagonia jacket that's actually decent is not gonna have nearly the markup or produce as much volume as a $30 patagonia shirt that is functionally identical to a $5 t shirt from walmart

hey decathlon fag what about telling your employers to develop a fucking lightweight single person tent or bivvy? Also please start having more actual /out/ name brands on your stores, thanks. Other than yet I have to agree that low priced clothes from there are pretty decent.

The way you are talking makes you sound like a sophomore doing their internship at a professional shilling firm.

Disclaimer: I get mates rates at my local climbing shop because half my fucking family works there, otherwise I wouldn't usually own branded """"out"""" clothes.
Have you tried ABK? I practically live in my ABK Zora pants and will never wear anything else for long-haul flights ever again.

Yes, pretty much. Especially if you go for stuff like pants and especially with brands you just mentioned.
What you need are expensive boots and an expensive shell jacket, and really good underwear.
The rest can be pretty subpar. I'd get pants that dry fast and that can be opened to let in fresh air.
