Is there any smoked fish or meat that can be packed for 3 days without being in a sachet or can?
I know about beef jerky and stockfish but I'm looking for something you can eat more of and it only needs to be preserved or cured enough to keep for a few days.

If you dont want stockfish, my best bet is coldsmoked vacuum sealed trout/salmon.

Just make your own, salmon is one of the cheapest foods around and if they can get salmon in Colorado they should have it in Australia
Sausage.

Understand what makes food rot and why? Techically any pickled or brined meat will last a long ass time. Dehydrated foods as well because in order for mold or bacteria to break down a substance it needs it to be moist with some sort of watercontent.
You can cook any regular meat you want stick it in a vacuum sealed bag of salt and water or vinegar and it should last just fine of your 3 day required time. But it's just gonna be extra salty or vinegary. Now there's something in the states particularly the south. It's a type of marinade called firewater. It's mostly vinegar. Maybe a piece of uncooked meat and store it in there and store it at room temp for 4 days and see what the meat looks and smells like afterwards. Then cook it.
