I found a clean, running 1990 prelude si with a 5 speed for $1000. Should I go for it?
Yes. Slow as fuck, but tons of fun and it looks really good imo. $1000 well spent.
Damn that's a steal
Ask a mechanic friend to take a look under the hood, just to check if anything is fucked up. Other than that, good car

I have a great Honda mechanic, I'd take it to him for a PPI before buying.

Keep for 10 years, it can only go up in value.

B21 gonna have shot rings, buy lots of extra oil.
>>17893591
It's going to have issues for $1000, but if the issues aren't severe I'd pull the trigger. Could be a nice car to drive for fun.
>>17893591
yeah I'd do it. thats not a bad car, fix it a little and sell it to a stacey for 2500.

A Stacey will never buy that car because "EW, IT'S SO OLD SO THAT MEANS IT'S BAD." You'll get some weirdo like us who wants it that long from now.

Yeah, and pick up a few 55g drums of oil while you're at it. Hopefully it was owned by some old couple and not Pedro who just took off all the tasteful mods.

>55g drums of oil
not OP, but why? Does it burn oil or something? Or you mean it for something else?
The A/C will fail if it already hasn't. And when it does, prepare your anus for some dry fucking by Mandingo. The electronic control parts that control the clutch are fragile, and they haven't been made in the last 15+ years.
