Could someone on /o/ run a VIN through carfax for me?
https://houston.craigslist .org/ctd/d/2005-cadillac-cts-70k-miles/6272690353.html
Found this, (2005 CTS V w/ <75k, clean title for $8.5k) this is WAY below market value making me think something is too good to be true. Anyone with connections mind helping me out?
flooded but not to the point of totaled and cleaned by a small dealer lot.
bet you if you pull some panels off you'll find the water line

>from a dealer
run the fuck away.
>>17882400
Oh shit, didn't even think of that. I'm sure you're right. Would it even be worth getting a PPI to make sure?
>>17882428
No. The car might not even exist. And if it does it's automatic. It's worthless. Get a manual one.
>>17882400
Wait, I thought it couldn't have a clean title if it was flooded
>>17882453
It is a manual though
>>17882462
some dude easily could have had it flooded, dried it out and cleaned it and then never reported it to insurance
>>17882468
then the listing on their own website is wrong. there's also no address on their website. this is fishy as fuck. They try real hard to get your financing information.

Protip: If you find a potential good deal on Craigslist, don't post it on /o/. The one guy with a drivers license and enough cash to buy a car might see it and get in before you.
>buying a used Cadillac
>from a used car dealer
>who advertises on craigslist
>literally like 200k cars just flooded recently in the area
>below market value despite being a used car dealership
>buy here pay here
>spam tags in the post

Look under the seats at the steel wire mesh. That shit rusts immediately, and most people won't replace the seats or even think to. If it's rusty run the fuck away.
