Now you know why my uncle decided to hand off his shop to somebody else and retire early by making bank restoring old cars, which for him is a labor of love.
if you want cheaper, look for a buick or an oldsmobile instead of a pontiac or chebby
you have to look for something that was preserved and avoid mememobiles.
Baby Boomers who got old and retired bought back all the cars they had that they wish they kept at a 10x markup. Ruined the market.
