What sort of people buys these things?
I always see 40-60yo males driving them.
I know about their rallying heritage and such, but do they actually handle well or accelerate fast?
Handle great. Unreliable expensive to own. Many lemons.
It’s not an overpriced hunk of shit, it’s a fun-to-drive overpriced hunk of shit

Old classic minis are fantastic. New minis get bigger as year's go by, not so good
My friend's mom used to have one of those recently. The One one and not a Cooper or anything higher. I was either that or the Fiat 500 and they aren't car people so they went with the Mini for some stupid reason. Now they have a 120d five door instead or some new 1-series as their second car.
They're F U N
And yes they handle great
I kind of wanted one after the new Italian Job but I'd rather have the old style

they are fantastically fun to drive, I had one as a rental once and the thing put a smile on my face driving it... it's not the most user friendly car, in terms of booth space and its back seat, but it is a fantastic little motor to drive around in
How much do minis usually go for? Does being compact make them cheaper or more expensive than typical shitboxes?
