The regular Armor All spray goes to a matte look after about 2 days, and lasts for a few weeks with some rain. Keeps the tires looking clean-ish, although I have white lettering so I have to scrub that or I'll look poor and strangers will judge me.

I like black magic tire gel. Keeps the sidewall looking freshly washed and slick. Doesn't make it obnoxiously shiny like in OP pic unless you use too much.

I was afraid of that too anon but you have to use it correctly. First you wrap it in newspaper for a day or two then when you use it you just drag it very lightly over the paint as you can. Like as little contact as possible. The material has a wax in it that pulls the dust off and prevents it from scratching the car. I've been using mine for a year now and it hasn't done anything bad to my paint. Even if you use it really wrong and fucking scrape it against the car like a tard you can just do a light polish.

Trust me dude, I used to spray detail my whole car all the time, fuck that bullshit never again.

one of the best things I've ever read on here is that tire shine is the wet hair gel look of cars.
I use an overpriced tire gel, guess which one, which leaves no shine and makes it look matte black as soon as applying.
