Are vehicle recommendations frowned upon on /o/? Sorry if I'm rude. I'm not into vehicles, but here's what I'm looking for:
>reliable obviously
>preferrably smaller than a typical SUV
>no requirements for storage space
>good offroad and snow capabilities, this is important because I spend some time travelling in the winter and we get a lot of snow here and I hate getting stuck
>not a truck
I'm considering a Jeep Wrangler, but I'm not sure on the mileage... Even if I don't drive for fun much. Plus I'm not a douchebag chad so probably not.
I really like the size of the two door Wranglers. Anything else that emulates that size?

The wrangler is bretty muck the only one left that fits your, criteria. Sorry pal. On the bright side, new wranglers a good. What's your budget? What mods do you plan on?

Don't give a fuck about mods. Budget is anywhere up to 30k in Canadian dollars. But I'm flexible. There are a lot of Wranglers around for a decent price. I'm eyeing a 2013 that only has only 50k km on it and the dealer says it's barely even touched a dirt road.
There's a showroom model Renegade Trailhawk for a really good price at a dealer 2 hours away, but I keep thinking why not just get the 2 door wrangler instead? I like how short they are, makes parking in weird places easy.

A 12 year old Santa Fe that's all but fallen apart. It's garbage in the snow and needs more work done to it than it's worth. Plus I just need something new. I don't drive much, but when I do it's only around town, for a couple hours on the highway, or innawoods on old dirt roads. Offroading isn't really my thing, but having the ability to is pretty handy where I live.

I kinda like that actually, thanks for the suggestion.

seconding fj bc they're indestructible and pretty good overall
if you're in canada maybe try importing a 2 door y61 patrol, lots of engine options to choose from including diesels, they're pretty tanky too

why not a truck? why not a mint ranger extended cab or a tacoma?
