Is a GTST worth heading up to Canada to buy, /o/?
Why are their prices so low compared to their GTR brothers?
I know about the RWD, but are there any drawbacks on GTSTs that keep prices low, or do the GTRs just have legendary meme status and inflated pricetags to match?

GTR has Godzilla tax and AWD tax.
GTST is 'lesser', so people don't want it.

Idk if it's worth the drive, you figure that out yourself.
But in terms of value, it's much better than a gtr.
>Rwd so it's significantly lighter
>Rb25's are bulletproof compared to the rb26
As in the term of actual value, it's not memed to hell like the GEE TEE ARU hence the lower prices
In my opinion, there is no point in going to the trouble of buying a 25yo right hand drive car unless it is something special. So, pretty much and 86 or GT-R would be the only ones. The whole point is that its a novelty purchase.
I'm sure the GTS is fine, but its handling, computer gizmo's, and engine are probably all a fair amount weaker than the GT-R

R32 didn't get the RB25, it used the RB20
Also there are better ways to spend $10k, OP

Where did you hear that?

The lesser models suffer from the same tax as the S13s do desu.
You only get the RB20 and the gearbox I hear is made of glass.

It did get the RB25 but without a tarbo

For 10k burger bucks? Nope! But I can't blame the guy for trying.
>Not even 10k Leaf bucks
rwd
single turbo
2.0L
the gts-4 is just an awd version of the gtst.

Fuck that looks good. I want it.

Yes, Americans would sell that car for $15K
>Why are their prices so low compared to their GTR brothers?
Much different car.

Legendary meme status coupled with difference of drivetrain

the ones here are expensive but they are clean as fuck. Idk about warranty but they look worth the cost and drive if you want one bad enough.

AUS boi here. I currently own a GTST and I have to say that thing is fucking clean. see if you can get a mod list of whats on it.
You wont regret buying a RWD R32, the godzilla meme is just that, a meme, the AWD system has its own draw backs and issues and even the Twin turbos of the 26 have issues.
If you want a skyline then I'd say go for it. There will always be a better one. Especially RB25 swapped ones.
(Make sure the HICAS system is removed)

There was a GT25 that got the RB25 but sans turbo like >>17866527 said.
