What's going to happen to all the classic cars of today? I don't mean like the collectors but the classic cars that aren't collectors yet people still love em? Will they stay in consumer circulation or just rust and become spare parts?
>yet people still love em
Depends on the car, but most people don't love them. It takes more than just being old to be classic. There were tons of good American cars made from the mid 60s to 1972 which is why there are still around. Almost every American car made from 73 to the mid 90s is complete garbage so most will be destined for junkyards.
Cool 90s cars are already becoming a collectors market.
You can find shitbox editions of them but well cared for ones are already fetching five figure numbers.
People will start going after early 00s cars once people get fed up with this infotainment bullshit and not being able to see out of windows.
