I'm sorry, I know this is an amazing piece of engineering that's worth more than everything I'll ever own combined...but these fucking headlights just look like they've been nicked from a Hyundai.
If I had the money, I'd have a Regera, featuring the Koenigsegg Direct Driveā¢
Lel, no one will give a shit about the Ford GT anymore.

We get old man, v12s run smooth. To bad they are so obsolete nowadays. Only unicorns run n/a v12s. Even the production v12s astons are switching to forced induction.
Is the Newey Catfish or the AMG Carp going to be quicker around the memering?

It's still just the concept, the actual car might look very different.

Yes, this is common with performance trims that are obsessed with weight savings.

Google Tomahawk.
>>17863827
He is right about the cooling required for a twinturbo V6. When Honda went from an n/a to a turbo V6 for the 2nd gen NSX, they had to redesign the entire car to get around that cooling. Emotionally, it's a great sendoff for the internal combustion engine, and just being a screamer V12 deserves some credit.
>>17863926
>Heavily restricted engine formula that literally cucks competitors out of cylinders and displacement
>Then cucked again by AMG to be roadworthy
Being a detuned F1 engine is not a good thing.
>>17863927
>What is aero?
>>17864567
>he thinks cylinders and displacement = power
You need to wake up to the 21st century nigga
This car is gonna have over 1,000 hp. More than the vast majority of naturally aspirated V12 shitboxes.
>>17864581
So is the Aston. 1000hp is erather easily achievable nowadays if you have a budget of over 300 million.
>>17864596
The Merc will use less fuel and will probably be quicker
In all the head-to-heads of the LaFerrari, P1 and 918 that I watched, the LaFerrari was the slowest. The P1 was quickest on tracks that had long straights (e.g. Silverstone) and the 918 was quickest on twisty tracks (e.g. Laguna Seca), probably due to the four-wheel steering.
Hybrid turbo engines are faster, Cleetus. Get with the times.
>>17863827
>muh balance
This actually matters when the engine is bolted right to the chassis with no flexible mounts.
>>17864558
>Tomahawk
A concept that never went anywhere?
>>17864639
Citation needed, citation needed, and some more citation needed.
Turbo motors are usually less fuel efficient in real life driving - not that it matters on a 2 million dollar hypercar. Keep in mind that the V6 was developed based on all the heavy restrictions and regulations of F1. The fact that burning oil is a viable tactic there should give you an idea as to how relevant and applicable this is to real world driving.
>Comparing shitty Italian engineering to Brits and Germans, which we're discussing
Way to be relevant there.
Hybrids, by definition, are not faster because of the added battery weight. Turbo engines developed under heavy restrictions may be slower than freely developed n/a units.
>>17864676
It's a racecar, nobody should give a single fuck about vibration regardless of engine layout. Solid engine mounts on everything, no holds barred, not even on a 20L single thumper.
>>17864758
They made 9, so yeah, a V10 motorcycle exists.
>>17864769
Neat, but unimpressive.
The implication was that V10 motorcycles were common, not that there are 9 in the world that nobody can buy.
