I have a stock radio with no cd player and no USB. How do I play my own music without paying gorillion dollars to fit in a new radio?
Pic is what I drive
I'm a girl btw
gorrilion?
100 tops for a good headunit is reasonable

You need a lot of extra parts to change a radio in BMW

Like anon said at >>17857944 , good headunits are around 100$.
If you gonna complain about 100$ whilst owning a BMW, I don't want to know the maintainance record on that car.
>mfw I paid fucking 600 euros on some stupid front and back brake pads.

only if you go for the OEM one. And if your damn infotainment starts pixelating, which it will, you might aswell buy a new one.
But yeah the OEM radio headunit is notorious for crapping out.

hmmmm?
also i'm pretty sure all the e8xs had cd players stock
what year is yours op?
>radios are no longer standard DIN size, meaning pretty much every car made after 2007 can't easily have a new head unit fitted
why

so you need to get it replaced with Genuine (manufacturer) Parts™ by the stealership when it eventually breaks

I don't understand. I went to the store looked at all the radios and they told me If I want one of them I will need a lot of extra parts to fit it in. What non OEM radaios are there? I haven't seen any.
They also told me that if I fit non bmw radio my parking sensors will stop working. Is it true?
FM broadcaster.

a DIN adapter panel for the 1 series 15€ on amazon. Annoying, but not a big deal imho
At least you didn't get a 1st gen Honda Jazz.
>buy used Jazz
>already had an aftermarket panel and a proper headunit
>brother happens to buy same car, stock radio
>see pic related and realise how lucky I got when I bought mine
>the DIN frame apparently costs 80 bucks for these
Screw that. Also his is a CVT kek
My US 09 135i e82 has aux and USB under the center console, you dont?
I have the hifi sound system btw.
Fm radio transmitter. Audio quality is NOT awful as some people say

Theres alot to choose from but this one works well, battery powered. There are ones that plug into cigarette lighter outlets

This. I've been using one for 6 months and I love it. WAY cheaper than having to buy and install a new head unit. Audio quality is fine, despite the occasional interference. Set it to an unused frequency and you're set.
