I am. But how could you not be? The back of that LC500 makes my dick hard
>>
I owned two new generation Lexus (still own one) and I find their cars to be very nice and with a lot of personality (I love the fact that they polarize the opinions), but there are few things I can't accept anymore:

>third world tier infotainments, really fuck Toyota
>need to learn how to do decent suspension setups (maybe ask Alfa Romeo for that)
>stop being autistic and using 80s parts that you can find on literally every japanese car both premium or non premium (see the motherfucker in pic related)
>>
>>17852714
Styling preferences are subjective, but you have to admit that the newer models have improved greatly over the early 2000's ones. Reliability and safety are some of the most critical factors in buying a car, and lexus is the cream of the crop.
>>
>>17852690
>>Fresh, Sporty Styling

>>Top reliability and safety ratings
Irrelevant. Porsche and MB are reliable as Lexus. Others are catching up.
>>Owned by Toyota
Cool. I am impressed that Toyota managed to create $100K LS from the $25K Prius platform aka TNGA.

As a long-time Mopar cuck turned Toyota cuck, I always wondered about this. Chrysler engines, from my experience, are fucking tanks. The problem is the vehicles fall apart under your. Their electric transmissions were also complete dogshit till about the mid 2000's. Other than that, they've been pretty reliable for me.
Now, having been driving Toyota, I can see a clear difference in all the other stuff; current vehicle is over 10 years old-no squeaks, rattles, weird noises, nothing breaks, no rust. Engine-wise though, no big difference. The Toyota seems easier to do basic maintenance on yourself; better designed engine bay.
>>
>>17852830

They are capable of nice things, but they put so much money into research and development on the nice things that then never see a return on their money.
>>
>>17852690
I think their styling is fucking atrocious, their interiors are pretty bland unless it's a concept car or absolute top of the line model with a million optional extras.

They rank among the absolute worst when it comes to depreciation in my country, often around 10% worse per year than the german equivalents.

Owned by Toyota doesn't really matter, the difference in reliability is negligible compared to the germans where I live.

>>17853164

Really the only luxury marque to bridge the gap from reliable economy car to high-end performance and accoutrements.

Let's look at the competitors:

Cadillac? Shit these days, the ATS and CTS are boring trash - even the V.

Lincoln? Fuddy garbage with mallcrawler styling and mediocre reliability.

Acura? Lol people still buy Acuras?

Buick? Sure, great cars if you're a nigger pro-athlete.

Ford should have kept Cougar and turned it into a performance luxury marque - the branding would've been great and they could've made something really aggressive and fun to compete with the F-sports. Instead they make blobbish plastic junk for boring baby boomers.
>>
>>17853237
yes, but V.W and Toyota have so much money they go into these vehicles knowing they will not make their money back off them in hopes it brings eyes to their brand as a flag ship car to help sell the lesser vehicles, also they are some sort of a science project in hoping the technology they develop in these flag ship cars will end up trickling down to the other lower level vehicles in time.

Again, the burden of proof lies on you. You've provided me with an article contradicting your claims. Show me one of these "unsold LFAs" that was actually meant to be sold or fuck off.

Pretty cool. I like their exterior designs for the most part, and the visual design of their interiors are top notch. Just get rid of the stupid mouse infotainment navigation, and replace it with a touchscreen. I really like it how the screens are integrated into the dash, instead of lazily slapped on top of it. I do like the grill lexus has been going with, because it's so different and still sporty with a touch of elegance. All in all, it's currently a pretty great brand if you ask me. Would be cool to see if they can make something even more high performance than the LC 500.

Lexus and Genesis or the only good luxury brands

I'm genuinely surprised that I like it as much as I do. This color is amazing, and the front end design is a bit like the MKZ, but sportier. I really like the color in this picture. The interior is pretty good, but I don't like the asymmetrical vents.
