How much noise do cats take away from exhaust?
I have a 5.0 with H-Pipe and muffler delete, only thing left is cats. It sounds amazing, and is loud af, but the idle is a little quiet. How much more sound could I get out of a cat delete/high flow cats?

Leave your cat on your degenerate.

but moar loud
You must be poor to want to sound loud while driving only 20 feets distance at 35mph

no reason to have a cat unless your state mandates it
>muh emissions

NY requires it but tune to get rid of o2 engine light and a nice shop

if u get rid of them just make sure yo get a tune to get rid of the CEL and get whatever gains you can. Newer cats are efficient so you wont pick up too much hp, but older cats are restrictive as fuck

>Muh emissions
>Muh smell
>Muh correctly running vehicle
>Muh responsible motoring
>Muh reasonably quiet car
Cats have no measurable impact on performance in any car made after the early 80's.
Decatting is literally being retarded. That's like putting a CAI witha metal pipe on your car because you think your stock airbox is restrictive.

Just get a ghost cam tune if you want an impressive idle tone.
