Not the M5 though unless you're good with a wrench

You could also go for the honda prelude with 200hp

40mpg if you don't drive like a spastic, VW parts are everywhere and cheap as dirt, and it's not built like a puzzle box so it's easy to work on
>>17848289
No-one gives a shit about overcomplicated and unnecessary awd.

I know you lot don't like 4rings, but that was quite low effort friends. Try harder.

it's just a myth, sure
>>
>>17848445

Let's see my bmw is
>10 years old, 97k miles
>cost me 11k at the time I bought it, they're even cheaper now
>never had any issues other than replacing the water pump and rad hoses ($350 whoop-dee-fucking-doo, they last 80k miles)
>fun to drive and I love how it looks

Maybe you're talking about the M5 or other V8 models? In which case they can be demanding
>>
>>17848449
Yup, if you actually knew anything about them you wouldn't parrot it like a dumb ass either
>>
>>17848445
Being this buttmad about an overpriced Jetta.

>>17848456

You can do better than this.

Why don't you climb down from your high horse and try one?
You scared you might like it and ruin your "street" image?
>>
>>17848516
The Passat is an A6. The A4 is cramped, especially in the back, so no. I didn't mean the Passat.
>>
>>17848547
My old man literally has one, faggot. It does what it has to and nothing more.

this thing with an inline 6 engine. one of the most reliable German cars of the last century
>>
>>17848549
The B5 A4, B5 Passat and C5 A6 are all pretty much the same car mechanically, with the exception of the A4's rear suspension (which is a carry-over from the old 80). Besides that the only real difference is the wheelbase, with the A4 being the shortest, the A6 being the longest and the Passat sitting somewhere in between.

Unironically this. Civic (Or, if you "need" extra space) a CR-V is great.
>>
>>17848559
We've tried to update it, but its all generally the same cars. The prices will have changed but the suggestions are still good.
>>
>>17848039
I would say Crown Victoria, but knowing how much improvements they got in 2003 I wouldn't get a year 2000.

11k BMW in a CHEAP DD thread..

Wtf is with all these bbw faggles ruining threads like these that are for CHEAP/RELIABLE/ AND FUEL EFFICIENT CARS
Which most of these qualities never apply to most old BMWs, and this is coming from someone who loves old BMW

Most old Honda's usually fit the bill perfectly because they never really break, and if they ever did parts are so plenty that it costs next to nothing to fix, and they're great in fuel and depending on the model can be fun cars, only problem with them is that theyre FF but that's it.
