Hey boys, a while ago I made a thread about my 1989 Escort which was having some issues starting up. Since then I rebuilt my carb and clutch and now the car runs better and faster than ever.
Only issue remaining is the blowby, which I assume could be getting worse since today there was oil on the dipstick seal, still not enough to push out any caps or cause any leaks.
I need this car to last me one year before I can have money to do a full rebuild and convert it to a weekend warrior... In the next couple of months im planning on buying some coilovers and sitting it down a couple of inches, but I wont spend that money if it is needed elsewhere to keep the car running...
Is that blowby gonna kill my engine? Does it get worse over time and is it THAT bad to keep daily-ing the car with blowby?
Thanks bros

Please do not do what this picture shows, that car is so beautiful stock.

Yeah I know, that is too much, I want it looking exactly stock but a tiny bit lower just for handling

No sense putting money into it now, if you are building it later. If it goes, it goes. You can get a whole new Escort for under 500€ and a RS2000 for 2,5K€, atleast in Finland.
Also, if Escorts of that era anything like Sierras of similar vintage, it will take ridicilous amounts of beating.
I used to drive a -90 2.0i dohc Sierra for 8 years.
