As someone who owned one of those, insurance is going to absolutely rape you. Great little car, I miss mine, but I certainly don't miss the near $250 a month insurance it cost. Fucking 3rd party too.

Almost. It was $233. Their reasoning was it's popular with Young males (of which I am. Under 25, and insurance will rape any man in the ass), and as such Civics, especially old Civics get involved in a lot of accidents. Then there's the whole stolen bit (only applicable to cars under comprehensive) which thankfully I couldn't even get otherwise it would have been way more.

You know what though, every penny was worth it. Those cars are damn fun. Hard to believe people were just daily driving those airbagless death traps daily without realizing just how boring cars would get.
