I called up a toyota showroom and they said today is the last date to get a 3k $ rebate on a 2017 camry. Are they memeing in order for me to come there and buy it or is today a significant date for car sales

Buy a $3k 2003 Camry from a private party.

You couldn't post a picture of a camry?

I don't have the time to go around checking if they reset their check engine lights and what not. Last time I bought from craiglist the guy did exactly that. I know there are OBD scanners but I don't have the time to go check each car.

>Toyota
Probably memeing you.
Buy a real car
There's always a bs sale going on

Rebates change every month. Rebate on Camry won't change that much, even if they do, it will come back as sales number change. Having said that, call back the dealership next day and ask what is new rebate.
I was salesman for toyota.

I reset my service light last time i serviced my car the fucks the problem with doing that?
>>17830478
No problem a tall. He said a check engine light however. If there is a fault or trouble code that won't show back up right away a seller can simply clear the codes and present the vehicle for sale. A day, week, or month later the cel will kick back on and now you're stuck dealing with it

Can't an OBD code puller check if a code was cleared recently?

>poor mans shit
some people want a car that will run longer than two more years that doesn't look and feel 14 years old
>>17830727
No
It will show as no codes found
But tell tale sign is that the monitors have not been completed or only partially completed if your scanner has that ability to look at them

A 2003 Camry will last at least 10 more years.
