So lads, how do we feel about the new Commodore?

Is there any hopes for a sick HSV version? Is HSV even relevant at this point after fucking up so badly with the GTSR W1? And more to the point will the nu-Commodore sell to normies or is the nameplate doomed for good?

In my opinion, while it's sad to see the lack of a RWD platform with a world class V8/gearbox architecture, the reality is the Commodore originated from a European designed GM sedan to suit the times, as it will be once again.
It's likely there'll be an AWD variant sold through HSV, but last I read GMH claimed fitting forced induction to the latest generation of V6 Opel Insignia was impossible due to lack of space... Time will tell.

Opinions on the fiesta ST? Considering getting one for a weekender with one problem, I'm 6'7" tall and unsure it will be comfortable

You won't fit. Fiesta is meh, Focus ST is really good, It's like a mazda 3 mps but the focus has better traction control, etc. You won't fit comfortably at 6'7 guaranteed, unless you modify the seats and lean all the way back.

Thats, uh, not true at all.
I fit in a fiesta st at 6'6" just fine, and prefer it greatly to the focus. I really didn't like the focus at all, actually.
And, muh matt farah said he sometimes regrets getting rid of his fiesta for his focus RS

I think some anons are mad they can't afford it, and that it couldn't match anywhere near the power output at the wheels as the outgoing XR8 Sprint.
