There are ridiculous taxation to cars where i live in, a shitbox is around $14,000 and getting a used car for $5,000 is a scam cuz they are fucked up and wont even start up.

Im going to attend med school around april next year, my brother is already in medschool (he takes the bus, fuck that) and my dad now has to pay for 2 uni careers.

That means no car, So what do you guys recommend, should I save and buy a 2k new motorbike or beg for a shitbox car? I cant study and work at the same time, my brother has tried this shit and he almost went batshit insane and wanted to quit either work or school (obvi work).

I live in an urban area, getting to the uni is through roads only, no bikes allowed, that or getting wrecked by a truck. Also a normal day here is about 85F so i would arrive sweating and shit. Plus my bike would get stolen.

And to top it all the uni is 30 minutes away in a car.
