I just noticed that my vehicle's title notes that the odometer exceeds the mechanical limit. But my car's odometer has six digits and still functions.
How can this be?

You got fucked by a prior owner.
>>17802438
That's what I get for a grand, I guess.

So would that classify my title as salvage?
Unless your car has over a million miles, someone checked the wrong box on the title when it was transferred. You can usually get this corrected with enough notarized forms.
Has nothing to do with salvage. Just at the moment your car legally speaking has been around the world about 50 times.

I am fairly certain this shitter will never make a million miles. This is good news nonetheless.

You've owned this car for almost a year and just now asking about it?
>>17802508
I done goofed.

those fat people are in good shape because standing up is like squatting 900lbs
>>17802508
Took a year for the Amerifat to read the odometer.

Older cars only go up to 99,999. Ive got an 80s Ford 150 that has over 200k but reads 30,000

Why do you still own this car? It's a Northstar, right?
>>17802560
No shit. But this guy's car has a six-digit odo.
>>17802574
No, It has the 4.9.

Depends on the state, typically no, it just means the odometer reading isn't correct.
