How do you work on your car if you live in an apartment? (Lifting it w/ jack, etc)
Do it at vatozone
do it in a house for sale

Make friends who live in normal living conditions.
hire a crane to lift the car
or drive on those cables that support power lines carefully enough that the car is lifted off the ground, or crash into someones motorcycle and use that to lift the car

>How do you work on your car if you live in an apartment?
Most apartment complexes have rules against this in the lease, so the simple answer is 'you don't'

mine doesnt. car is on stands right now outside my door. Pretty ghetto, but so is where I live so it evens out.
You don't
Stop living like a filthy rat
>take stands and jack outside
>jack car up
>put stands under
>do your work
>let car down
>take stands and jack back inside
Working on cars is for peasants.
>he's never pulled an engine in an autozone parking lot
I never understood why its consider poor taste to work on your car in front your apartment.
I feel like they should capitalize on this. Maybe have a tent or garage on the property and charge whatever an hour to residents who need to work on their car. They also have to bring their own tools and stuff.
I dunno what I'm talking about so take this with a grain of salt.

as long as you aren't a nigger about it, I've never encountered trouble doing it even when I did an engine swap. just work cleanly, don't leave shit everywhere, and generally respect the area and I doubt they'll give you shit for working in the lot.
granted, this is less than advisable if you live in a complex on the corner of MLK drive and malcolm x avenue, but whatever.
